RISE CYCLE CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY
Rise Cycle, in honor of its first anniversary, invites you to join us for its birthday celebration the week of November 7. Interested in finding out if this heart-rate spiking, muscle burning, metabolism revving workout is for you? Perfect! We’d love for you to join us for a cycle class, on us. Two free cycle classes are being offered to Glen Ellyn and Rise Studio community members who have not yet before tried Rise Cycle on Tuesday, November 8, and Thursday, November 10 at 6:30pm. Come ready to sweat! No spin experience is required. Just let your instructor know you are new to the class, and he or she will help set up your ride.
HOW IT BEGAN
Rise Glen Ellyn opened the doors to Rise Cycle on October 24, 2015, and has never looked back. The beautiful Pennsylvania Ave Cycle Studio features Schwinn Carbon Blue Bikes, which gives Risers the feel of an authentic outdoor ride. This niche studio in the heart of Glen Ellyn’s historic downtown provides exercise enthusiasts with a motivating, high-energy workout involving intervals, races, rhythm riding, and upper-body series, all while listening to the latest beats. Rise Cycle classes are offered at various times throughout the day and week—and with the guidance and encouragement of 10 fabulous instructors—giving everyone a chance to participate in these mind and body endurance-building, butt-kicking workouts.
RISE CYCLE ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
In honor of Rise Cycle’s first anniversary, Rise Glen Ellyn is running this week-long special: a 5-pack of Rise Cycle classes for just $59 (a $79 value) or a 10-pack of Rise Cycle classes for only $109 (a $149 value). These packs can be purchased between November 7 and November 11, 2016, and will be good for 3 months only.
THE SKINNY ON SPIN
Exercise experts say that spin helps shed fat, improve cardiovascular health, and boost muscle
endurance. A popular myth is that cycle classes build and bulk up leg muscles. The truth is, indoor cycling is a low-impact exercise that targets the legs and glutes but in a way that builds lean muscle and prompts calorie burn. For runners, it can be a great supplement to strenuous pavement-hitting training. For those recovering from an injury, indoor cycling can provide desired movement in a way that complies with recovery of certain targeted muscles.
Indoor cycling classes at Rise Cycle, thanks to the awesome team of instructors, help Risers average 400 to 600 calories burned in a 45-minute class. Come see what the buzz is all about!
